We went for the first time today and could not be happier with the experience. You can tell how much care the owners take for the animals, property and experience. It was clean, had plenty of shade, seating, and activities for children to use their imagination. We took our 2.5 and 5.5 year old and they had the best time. We had been going to 'The Farm' for many years before trying Plum Loco, and the difference in practices is startling. Plum Loco is ethical. Their animals are not entertainment and bred for attractions like holding and bottle feeding. Plum Loco doesnt have chickens, kittens or cows. We will be repeat visitors for...
Read moreKids fed grain and carrots to the various animals. We were given clear directions on how to feed them. Animals are well cared for and so friendly. The donkey even nuzzled my child, much to her delight! Clean bathroom. They had a kid area where kids could explore the farm life with imaginative play. Super family friendly! Big shaded and clean gazebos and chairs for parents to rest. So glad we chose to stop here. Definitely a highlight of our trip. Door County is very touristy and this was just so unique for the kids. My only regret is not giving ourselves...

Plum loco farm popped up in our Google search and it wasn’t too far from us, so we decided to check it out. The grounds are beautiful and well kept with positive messages everywhere, play areas for little ones, and several animal enclosures. Unlike other petting zoos this place is a sanctuary before anything else, so there were older, and bigger animals than what are typically at petting zoos. The animals were all very calm and friendly. Staff was friendly and allows you to spend as much time as you’d like playing. It was very reasonably priced and a great place to spend an...
