Young's Studio & Gallery — Attraction in Town of Jay

Pottery was beautifully made and certainly one of a kind. I especially loved the jewelry. While I couldn't justify spending $25-35+ on earrings, however my cousin did. She absolutely loves hers and put them on immediately!! She has only taken them off for bed! I loved the little spoons and along with the necklaces as well! I really loved all the different prints, paintings and drawings.

This place has amazing stuff! Unique pottery that have me a new appreciation for it as an art. An older couple own and run the shop containing mostly their own work, along with a few other artists' work. Very friendly and great with explaining their craft.

Also, the ride here from Lake Placid is beautiful. After visiting I suggest you take a dip in the river at the coveted bridge, maybe a mile...
