SO I'M HERE AGAIN ON THE 20TH OF JULY 2022
I didn't see any of the mineral or gemstones I think that they were on loan the last time I arrived years ago
The employees were in some sort of meeting so I wasn't able to interact with the employees at the nature center but they usually are extremely friendly and knowledgeable
I 100% recommend asking them about the salamanders and helping them to cross the street
They moved the Bee 🐝 apiary up to the front and I immediately found the queen she's the one that has the little yellow dot on her back
They have a bunch of interactive Hands-On exhibits that young children can play with and touch
They have a bunch of animal furs from the local species that local hunters donate the taxidermy from
They also have a table that has a bunch of cubbies that you can pull out and you can touch the bones and different things
They have an entire area with binoculars so children can watch the birds at the bird feeders
They have a Fisher which is a North American large weasel
They have a box turtle I don't know if you can touch that one but it's in the tank that also have a ball python and they also have some other type of turtle that was in a more water environment...
