St. Croix Casino Hertel — Attraction in Town of La Follette

I am so very disappointed in my experience at the Restaurant at the Hurtle Casino. I ordered a BLT with Tater tots it was $8.99. My sandwich had 2 slices of bacon 1 slice of tomato and 1 piece of lettuce on the entire sandwich. The tater tots were good but not the same as they were a couple years ago they had no flavor now . So I told my waitress ( karie-ann or Karie-jo I don't remember her name exactly ) and i showed her my sandwich . She went into the back came out and said to me, " He apologies or that he was not back there when the sandwich was made and the sandwich was made wrong " so then when I was going to leave she asked was everything ok . I replied no I would of liked my BLT made correctly not just an apology. She then replied with " You should of told me sooner." Number 1 I would have if she would of came out from the back and number 2 I told her when I still had half my sandwich. So we were leaving and she did not know I was just around the corner and could see the cash register, she came up to the person at the till and said "Oh wow" so I said to her ya that's all you get . It was almost $2 in change and she was lucky to get that . Well she replied, " oh no I'm excited to see if there are any wheat Penny's. First of all I saw and heard her sarcastic self she's lucky she even got that change. And I can't believe I paid that much for a sandwich that wasn't even made correctly and then not corrected and then her sarcastic self when she didn't know I was right around the corner and seen and hurt her until it was too late I am so very...

Went to the resturant to eat, was 2 waitresses, 7 empty tables, and was told it was going to be a 15-20 minute wait to be seated, was more than an half hour. Once seated, it was another 20-25 minute wait for one of the waitresses to come and take our order and they were out of cole slaw that was part of the dinner. Salad bar was running out of stuff, no one refilling it. When we ordered, was told it was going to be at least a 25 minute wait for food, husband had coffee, never got a refill. During that time sitting there, the waitresses were walking by empty plates on the tables, not refilling coffee, hanging in the kitchen and at the counter talking. When they did clear a table picked up one thing in each hand and take it back. Have never seen such untrained wait staff anywhere. There should not have been people waiting to be seated with 7....YES 7 EMPTY tables. Will NEVER eat...

Well were not gamblers. We came in for food ..yummy .. not expensive.. we were here to actually visit a dying cousin.. was in area for week . Trying to take my Aunt out of the sad place for a few minutes.. went to pay food bill.A very nice man that worked their picked up our Tab. I left him our money for bill. But was very grateful for his kindness his wife works here too.. Im a pay it forward person too.. so I got what he Did for us it was a wonderful gift he gave us .. Kindness in a sad time.. went back to hospital and pated it forward a man got picked up from highway cause he could not all the sudden see . But he could not get cad for like 5 hours .. so I took him to his car he tryed to pay me I said pay it foward..he was going to walk...back to his car . So I hope you see this wonderful kind person ..
