Took a detour on this trail mountain biking back from Big Bay State Park on the way back to the ferry in La Pointe and boy am I ever glad that I did. Trail is nice and wide, smooth, slightly gravelly, just over 1 mile long, with some nice rolling hills and well posted signs. Almost looks like New Zealand on parts of the trail. Enjoyed this trail. It was very quiet except for nature sounds. The trail is wide and very easy to walk. Parking was tight at one end of the trail with only 2 cars in the parking area.
