I found Matt Philleo's tutorials while searching for acrylic painting ideas and tutorials. I am so pleased I found him on YouTube tutorials, Website and his Face Book group Realistic Acrylic Portraits. I have never sketched a good portrait, let alone paint one. However after following Matt's incredibly patient and detailed tutorials using his acrylic glazing technique I tried one, and I was thrilled with how it turned out. I then painted 2 more. He and his FaceBook group are so encouraging, giving good critique on members' progress on their portraits, and now lately, on another new group for all other non-portraits.
