Pretty awesome little cave, kind of hard to find, the nav didn't take me to the right place exactly, but if you follow the handwritten info on the arrow in the road (at elm lake Rd, to cave hill road) and drive another half mile or so, you will see a small sign for the cave. You can park just down the way there is room for maybe 2 cars. It really is just a small cave just off the dirt rd. About 15 feet in. But it's really pretty cool. There were lots of bugs.

Veryyy confusing to get to. This is NOT the start of the walk or the cave. You have to drive 2 miles down dirt roads off of elm lake road out of town, elm lake becomes a dirt road you go down, then you make a right on cave road, and then another right until a barrier where you park. From there it’s a pleasant .4 mile walk. Not sure it’s worth the hassle but if you have time to kill sure, why not.

For those on the hunt... you can park in the vicinity of: 43°31'9.809" N 74°19'43.572" W if you have a vehicle capable of travelling the rough roads. The actual cave is only a few hundred feet away: 43°31'10.602" N 74°19'43.115" W. To get there by vehicle, come in from Old Rt. 30, cross the Sacandaga River, and take your first left onto the dirt road (if the gate is open). Follow it until you get to the parking coordinates listed above. I attached a photo of the sign on the side of the dirt road, but it's not the easiest to spot...

An easy to get to small roadside cave. The parking area is more a wide spot on the shoulder of the road, with room for maybe 2 cars. The parking area puts you within ~100 feet of the cave. It took us a while to find the parking area because google took us down a wrong road, because the road to the cave is not listed on google maps. If you look at the satellite images of this area, follow the road visible on the map until you are right next to the cave. Definitely a worthwhile stop if you're...
