Lake Noquebay — Attraction in Town of Lake

This use to be an excellent family fishing lake. Unfortunately, the lakes association decided that muskie fisherman are more important than everyone else, so they've started stocking the lake. The 40,000 muskie "fingerlings" range in size from 18-24". You can already see the affect they've had on the smaller fish populations. Can't understand why they won't leave mother...

This is a large lake pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It is away from the major tourist and sportsman hotspots so the fishing pressure is a little less than most big lakes. The fishing in Lake Noquebay is exceptional with an abundance of fish of just about every variety. Be aware that Lake Noquebay can get windy and wavy fast especially on the far leeward sides...
