I have visited this beautiful lake several times over the past 30 years and always manage to catch plenty of healthy fish. There are several awesome resorts with reasonable rates to be found. Many of them rent boats and offer other recreational amenities.

I have visited this beautiful lake several times over the past 30 years and always manage to catch plenty of healthy fish. There are several awesome resorts with reasonable rates to be found. Many of them rent boats and offer other recreational amenities.

We just got back from a trip to Lac Vieux Desert. We stay at the Thunder Bay resort right on the lake. It's very beautiful. Musky fishing isn't very plentiful, at least not for us the last couple of years. It's fun to take a canoe or paddle boat around the little inlets and see all there is. We saw a family of otters one day, that was amazing! Overall, great place. Wonderful sunsets and stars at...

Always do great on this Lake ice fishing. With minimal contours overall, you can be fairly confident in going anywhere on the lake to do well with Perch and Northern.
