I went last night with my friends and let me just say you get to do alot for only $30 I was shocked. That including FOUR haunted attractions for the price of one and a very scary tractor ride through the woods and a train ride back to the parking lot. Not much of wait time actually and the line was not as long for us as others have said. We actually got inside as soon as we came and left as soon as we were done. It was very scary and you are constantly on your toes at this place! The actors are good at what they do and also made me question my reality and wonder if this place is only for a haunt because the story behind this land was scary itself!! There are a few child actors which I dont understand why some people complained about that as even the children actors were scary. You are there for at least an hour or more. I was there for an hour and a half and thats a long time to be scared. But no complaints there at all as I did not think I could find a haunted house/adventure for that long and that good for that inexpensive. You will do a lot of walking outside, so please make sure that you have the right shoes and right outfit. It is also very dark out there so watch your step as I had fell on my knees ( totally being my fault running too fast I was scared lol ) and thankfully, a scare actor helped me back up and guided me through after she seen I was struggling with this one part of it having fog. It is definitely worth the money and the hype! It is definitely worth the scare for October and I will definitely be back...
Read moreIt's generally been good when we've gone, but when we went in Oct. this year, I was very surprised they remained open because the tractors were sliding all around seriously struggling through the very deep mud. Not all actors were wearing masks, and I had to remove mine once because my glasses got so fogged I couldn't see where I was going down stairs and was very upset a teen screamed in my face given the Covid world we're in; I needed my glasses on to see and is why I took the mask off to clear up the fogged up glasses rather than remove my glasses to keep the mask on. Another came behind me another time and was blowing on the back of my neck, which I ignored as best I could because I realize that's typically the fastest way to get something like that to stop, and I certainly wasn't going to risk turning around to make it in my face. We've been to several haunted houses during 2020 and 2021, and every other place respects Covid concerns more than this. Vaccinated or not doesn't matter with all the variants and how those vaccinated are also spreading plus getting sick. It's a miracle we were Ok from all that, but they need to be more respectful of Covid like other Haunts are. This Haunt is entertaining, but the only scary part about it is their lack of Covid safety. I will note they did do better in 2020...
Read morePlanned a Saturday "girls night out" and this time we decided to be brave and check out The Dark Side Haunted Adventure. I was very impressed. This location is a 40 acre farm so plenty of parking, the area was muddy due to the rains from the two previous days. (bring old shoes) There was a ticket area, a concession stand, a BBQ trailer and a midway with music and lights.
We bought our tickets online so a fast checkin process. We purchased the haunt and the Zombie paintball. We were instructed to follow the ropes to the Zombie Expedition which was so much fun. The had a set reminiscent of the walking dead and you got to "take out" zombies. Girls and guns was a winner night out!
Next we went on the haunt. They have 6 haunts for one ticket. The first one you walk to which is a cool mine and when survive the first one you come out to a large area with a campfire and wait for the tractor to arrive. Once everyone is loaded we are taken to the woods with plenty of demons on board and grabbing you as you go on the path. From there we went to a haunted nursery, a crazy corn maze where a farmer shoots blanks in the air, a super cool cemetery. There were bridges and trails and plenty of scary creatures in the night. We had a blast and that is what we expected. ...
