Yankee Doodles Country Store — Attraction in Town of Lenox

I've been wanting to stop at this shop for awhile now and last Monday I finally had time too. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. There sign says Old-Fashioned Candy....its not only old fashioned it's just plain old.... I bought there peanut butter coconut candies and the watermelon candies. I was so excited to try these because I love the neapolitan ones and have never seen these flavor options. As soon as I got in my truck I took out the peanut butter one and was totally disgusted by the taste... it's hard to describe, almost like a rancid taste. I spit it out. Same with the Watermelon... Amazing artist!!! They are very friendly the artwork is done by a family of American artists. This store and the artist was featured in the Smithsonian. Very reasonable prices for handcarved and hand made works of art. They sell some other items as well like jams and jewelry there is something for everyone.
