Bond's Lake offers X-country ski trails in the winter. Many of the trails have big ruts that fill with water (not conducive to x-country skiing). But when it's cold enough to freeze the water and we get enough snow for cover it's perfect. The trails wind through apple orchards, tall pines, past ravines and open fields. There are two beautiful lakes to view. Myer's lake is my favorite to ski around. Easy parking, a warming house with bathrooms and a roaring fire add to the experience. There are also 2 ice skating rinks and a giant sledding hill. They use the old down hill ski hill so it's steep and very long. The walk back up the hill is good exercise. Only plastic sleds and inflatables are allowed. In the summer the same x-country ski trails are open for hiking. Shelters and picnic tables surround Bond's lake for a serene setting for a summer's day. I would have given 5 stars if the trails were groomed better for skiing otherwise a...

Bond Lake Park is great for a variety of activities. I've run here many, many times and can find new trails to explore still! Terrain is a mix of grass, wood chips, dirt (or mud LOL) and stone. There are plenty of places to take a gentle walk or a more challenging hilly run/walk. I've brought my dog with me and she enjoys it too. I've also trail rode my horse here several times and its a popular place for riding with plenty of trailer parking. Another of my favorite things to do here is to kayak with my family. There are plenty of spots along the lake that are easy to slide in from. My only warning is too watch for rocks when the water level is low. When you near the road, it gets very shallow in a dry season. Lots of people fish here but since I haven't I can't comment on what you catch or how...

Hidden gem in Niagara County. Decent fishing, great place to run, jog, walk, fish, canoe or kayak, run your dogs, picnic and just hang out on a warm summer day.

They recently cut off the back 2/3rd of the park with large boulders and rocks apparently from local morons trashing the area mudding their hoopties and atvs in the back area. The county got sick of repairing the damage and dragging out tore up junk pickups out of the weeds. The area is a bird/waterfowl preserve and the county worker i talked to told us it got really bad between the trucks and ATVs so they shut it down.

Still a...

The warming house was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! The views from inside along with the huge amount of outdoor space to setup lawn games, etc was perfect. The venue is a blank slate but already beautiful so that you truly don’t need a lot of decor to make it pop! Catering of any choice can be brought in and same with the bar. The foreman Dave was very attentive during setup and available when needed to help everything go smoothly. We loved our wedding here and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a DIY wedding space.

My son, my father and myself had a great day of fishing with all of us catching many fish. We also experienced a great deal of wildlife from catching a garder snake to seeing a Great Blue Herron fly right by us to having 2 young orphaned raccons come by and eat some of our catch. This is a great little park that it seems not many people know of but probably should.
