We absolutely love this place, from adventures in the winter, the inside amazing display of animals, and fun wooden toys, and the beautiful wooden tree slide, and hide out inside just like the tree animals! Also added bonus for parents who don’t mind spending a bit extra, really cute fun learning toys, and even cool natural stuff for adults! Read moreWent here on Mother's Day weekend and was very impressed! Inside, the staff is very nice and polite, and the display of animals is really fun to look at and educating! Outside was even better! We had a fantastic picnic lunch in the shade at one of the tables that was very enjoyable! Afterwards we went on a hike. The hike was peaceful and serene. All of the spring wildflowers were in full bloom, the trees were in bloom, the bees were pollinating, and the Beaver Creek itself was crystal clear with a nice sand bottom! Read moreBeautiful area, but I think we came at the wrong time of year. The butterfly house had no netting, and no butterflies. The center was closed, so we didn't get to look around in there at all. And the bird feeders were empty, so no birds.
The grounds were very nice though. Lots of things for kids to do. Nice trails, stairs, and boardwalks. It looks like there's a very nice sitting area for telling stories around a fire.
We'd have to come back another time to see the inside, and hopefully some birds and butterflies.
