Super clear water very large smallmouth bass northern pike and walleye to Lake can be difficult to fish but once you figure it out the rewards are great not one of the Smallmouth we caught we're under 3 lb we will definitely be coming back the tip I can give you is be stealthy and keep your boat stealthy practice your casting so you can cast long...

I grew up on this lake. My great grandparents settled on the north shore as immigrants from Germany in 1897. It's a 3 mile long and 2 mile wide spring fed lake. Having been to Tahoe, I'd still prefer Lake Metonga. And btw, it's Lake Metonga not...

We really enjoyed stopping here to fish. Although shore fishing doesn't work so well since its kind of shallow for about 60 yards out. Wading, rock picking and shell finding was super fun for the kiddos. Can't wait to go back and...
