Lisbon Town Campground — Attraction in Town of Lisbon

BE WARNED!!!!!! There are many better options in the region. Grass sites, not too level, hardly any trees. Some sites are cramped by the marina, others are ok. I have certainly been in much tighter parks usually in HIGH tourist areas like Pigeon Forge TN.

I booked a 5 day stay, with 50amp full h/u months in advance. That was screwed up, to which very little resolve was offered. I basically told mgmt that what I booked months in advance would be available when i pulled in. Still was not correct. Minor drawback was that i had only 30amp. So i could not use my 3 a/c units....in July.

I don't believe the already dirty bath house had been cleaned during my 5 day stay. The same filth was there every day.

90% of the sites appear to be seasonal, wherein the seasonal people we encountered apparently believe the "rules" dont apply to them. Quiet hours are apparently optional, just because you have outdoor speakers, (not just 1 repeat offender) doesnt mean the entire parks wants to listen with you. Dogs not on leashes, golf carts flying around well over the 5 mph speed limit.

You can drive ANYWHERE. I was playing with my 5yo daughter on the "playground" (swings and a monkey bar dome from at least 1960, yes thats the playground, 2 items) and some guy in a truck drives clear across the tent sites (only 1 tent site occupied at the time) within 5 feet of the dome my daughter was on with a portable waste tank chained to his hitch heading to the dump station.

The inside of the "loops" where you would call a common area and behind the sites on the outside of the loops.....ABSOLUTE FREE FOR ALL. Golf carts, short cuts, vehicles, boat parking, trailer parking, just a total free for all.

I GUARANTEE I will not return. There are MANY, MANY, MANY, better options in this...

We made a reservation for a campsite 2 days before we arrived and attended a family reunion at the pavilion. When we arrived we were escorted to our site by the property manager via golf cart. The campground is immaculate!! The pavilion was huge and overlooked the river. They had many picnic tables available to use. I would definitely recommend this campground and we hope to go back soon! This campground was a true blessing to my friend and i. Beautiful, clean, and the nicest people. The campground director went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.
