Mongaup Falls Reservoir — Attraction in Town of Lumberland

Very clean & tadpoles everywhere. Best for small trucks or jeeps for access. We managed both kids & an 80 lb boxer I had to lift up to get back up level by level, otherwise it was a breeze. Locals use it in the evening and take care of the site, no glass or trash. Occasional firework leftover, but I'm only jealous of how beautiful that probably looked over that cliff. Gr at spot for occasionally seeing a Bald Eagle & other wild life. Frogs are all over the place & thankfully, we still haven't seen any snakes or bears on our visits. We always take a pup to be safe, you're out In the middle of the forest with just God & Earth at it's best. It's beautiful here.
