One of our fav state parks. Bathrooms are generally clean and tidy - no small feat since some campers are slobs... Sites are either no services or just electric. There are plenty of water spigots to fill your camper or jugs. There is only one dump station but it's a small campground. Virtually every site has a view of the water, whether or not they are "waterfront". Office staff are some of the nicest we've encountered. We noticed mowing and cleaning going on throughout the day on a daily basis. There is a beautiful new playground. There is no beach, but you can swim at your own risk anywhere along the shoreline. Bring good water shoes - the bottom is very rocky. Dogs are allowed on leash. First come, first served at the small marina. We've never had a problem getting an appropriate spot for...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE this park. So very peaceful and serene and easy kayak access. The amenities of hook ups are not necessarily there, but the amazing space of the sites and the views of the lake at every angle are breathtaking. If this park had full hook ups, I would stay there forever. The staff is incredible and work so hard to maintain the park. When a guest pulls out at 9 AM, a staff worker is there at 9:10 AM mowing and cleaning up the site for the next person. I have not seen such a good turn around in a very long time, and the staff at this park should be greatly commended. I would love to come back again every...

Maybe Labor Day just isn't the right time to visit, but I'm not sure we will be back.
The bathhouse was recently redone and was a very nice facility. The wood, ice and bait for sale at the camp office was nice to have, as there are few places around to run out to for that kind of stuff. The staff at the park were also...
