This was a nice park, with all the appeal of a larger location. Ample parking, great shade from tall pine trees, and access to a mapped walking trail! There was a field for net games like lacrosse and tumbling, lower than the main area, after you pass over the basketball courts.
We had fun on four regular swings, and didn't use the two toddler sized, human-assisted swings. There were also two spinning-chairs; one open air and the other enclosed style.
Our main attraction was the climbing apparatus feature. This you have to see to believe! A clime through open air suspension tunnel, with monkey bar suspension ladder, corkscrew mini slide, a slide with a buno/jump, all surrounded by spider webbing rope climb netting! Truly impressive structure. An attentive adult or guardian can play "spotter" while others climb the accessible heights.

Read moreThis is a nice little park that is well maintained and is not typically overcrowded. We mainly go there for the playground. The playground at the park is not the largest in the area, but has some fun equipment that is unique to this park.
I have seen many birthday parties there at the pavilion which is right next to the playground, so kids love it! There are basketball courts and a baseball field and more so there are options...
