We love to go here for hiking, sunrise and sunset views. I hate that people come here to drink and leave broken glass everywhere. Think about the wildlife! If you’re going to enjoy this place take your garbage with you or don’t break the glass bottles! I’ve picked up garbage around here a few times but the tiny pieces of glass are impossible.

Really fun fire tower-it's a super short walk from the small parking area that can fit around 6 cars. The views are the best 360 of NY NJ & PA. Minnewaska/Mohonk are front and center & the Catskills in the background are like nothing else. I'd say this is a hidden local gem

Gorgeous scenic views of surrounding Wurtsboro mountains, easy 2 min walk up rocky path directly to fire tower. Parking is right up gravel road. I recommend going 1-1.5 hours before sunset.

A nice place to take a hike with the family. The fire tower itself is accessible from the ground by walking up a few flights of stairs. It was windy today but the fire tower did not sway in the wind. At the top there are wonderful views surrounding tree-filled hills.
