Been going to the lake for years. In recent years it has been a little dirtier than in the past. there are garbage bins there. people can just be lazy some days. There is a porta potty on site with a wash station. nice place to swim or kayak. Kid friendly local swimming spot.

It is a nice park, but the few times I visited, the longer trail that is not long enough was not open. They could put an off-leash dog park on top near the entrance to the steep drive to parking. There should be an easier way to walk there from Main Street in the town. On one road, one has to cross railroad tracks. It should be able to be made into part of a hiking trail leading to Main Street. It could be better developed for multipurpose...
