My husband and I went on a rainy day so we were the only ones there. The metal art is fun and interesting. I was a little surprised about all of the inappropriate comments about women and sexual innuendo, especially after he told us he used to be an attorney. I am surprised he hasnt been sued for sexual harassment, would be an easy case. If you can handle/ignore his comments (or could say no thank you to his "tour.") the place has some neat things to see. The woman that does the glass work, and other things, in the hobbit house was wonderful to interact with and we bought some of her art. I did think about this review for a month before leaving it. I read other reviews. The artwork is fantastic, it really is too bad to have to experience and report the mans behavior. Maybe one very subtle innuendo would have been funny, but after 45 min of constant sexual comments (only directed toward women) during his "tour" I had lost all respect for him. I see he responds to reviews and calls people prudes. No sir, this is not the case. You are behaving in an inappropriate way AND...

Clyde was informative and also a jokester that made the tour 10 times more enjoyable! His wife makes hand made glass items in a little lodge right in the middle of the property. We got to see her at work and my son watched her craft for a long time! Clyde took over once again showing us around and we were mesmerized and entertained by Clyde's quick wit and old timer charm. Not only was this place free to visit but there are plenty of Clyde's original pieces for sale along with his wife's beautiful glassworks! We ended up buying 2 of the metal wood ticks and a glass ornament for the Christmas tree! Donations are appreciated but there is no pressure by the owners of the property to do so. They really enjoy people coming from all over to visit! Definitely mark this as a stop on your next family outing! Your whole family...
Β Β Β Read moreAmazing! Clyde gives free tours when he's around, and you can tell he loves to do it! The sculptures range from badass to silly, and the informative plaques are very tongue-in-cheek. Clyde will demonstrate the moving sculptures, which are absolutely fascinating. He'll tell you everything you could want to know about his art and more, and he sure is funny! He has a few small sculptures for sale but isn't concerned about selling things. At the end he showed us into the workshop building where his wife has a bunch of handmade glass pieces for sale. Cash only, FYI. Also it'd be cool if people parked as if there are angled parking spaces (like the sign says to do) instead of pulling in across the whole spot so no one else can fit...seems like a good stream of visitors & you won't be the...
