We drove upstate and stayed nearby and decided to drop by in hopes of finding some cider for sale. While they cannot sell cider to the public yet, we did get to do a very extensive tour of the cider mill and observed the whole cider making process. This mill has over 100 years of history and it’s crazy to see how well they maintained it.
The Hubbell Family went above and beyond and taught us about their family’s history, the cider making process, and even about the best foliage hikes in the area! I'm all in favor of supporting local farmers, but I can find prime cuts of beef and pork (that haven't been frozen) at top quality butcher shops elsewhere at a more reasonable price.
