The ice age trail is the main draw for the west side of the property, heavily used on nice days with a fair number of runners on it some days. Big with dog walkers as well so as for hunting I'd avoid the areas next to the trail though there is a very good deer population on this side of the property. There's been no forest management on the hill side that the trail runs through for decades now. Buckthorn and other invasives have taken hold but there's a new property manager that has finally found some funds for getting a brush hog on the place. Prescribed burns again. Shrubs have taken over much of the lowlands and grassland. Used to be a decent pheasant hunting area with a few bobwhite quail as a bonus. Always a lot of deer, hard getting into the places they hang out so it's a lot of work getting one out. Stocked pheasants of course but heavy pressure on them. Some areas with sunflowers for dove hunting. West side is the hiking area and the rest is mainly for hunting and trout fishing Story Creek. Some big brown trout in there. Lots of wetlands and grassland on the east side but no hiking trails it's fine going cross country but wear orange in the fall. Haven't really explored south of 92 yet but will be soon. Mostly fishing...

Wear long clothing or bug repellent when coming here though since the overgrowth has cultivated...
