Harry J. Betar Jr. Recreational Park at Moreau Rec. — Attraction in Town of Moreau

Quite a wide variety of playground equipment to choose from! Bathrooms were open and quite clean. I could see some type of practice happening nearby. This is kind of hidden and out of the way so it doesn't end up nearly as busy as Crandall park (which we like!) Tennis court, basketball court and pavilions are all available. Pavilions can be rented for a fee for parties and such. Each pavilion also has a charcoal grill. There is also a wooded trail, I believe it is intended for the schools cross country but we have walked it several times during the summer and it's nice. For Pokemon go players there are 2 gyms and numerous pokestops...

Great local park to have picnics and gatherings under the pavilions. We've been there numerous times where our child's preschool hosted a year end picnic. The playground has many old school playthings like one of those metal merry go round things kids pile on and other kids spin it and watch the riders fly off. There's also metal slides and the animals on lage springs you can knock your front teeth out with. Everything a Gen Xer needs to take their kids to and not one of those shredded tire, plastic, safe pillow...

Tons of baseball and softball fields. Great setup for softball tournaments and nice fields. Has two entrances, the southern one is easier to use if there is heavy traffic on highway rt 9. Alltown fresh, Stewart's, a pizza joint are all close by here. common roots brewery, artisanal brewery close by and downtown glens falls has lots of restaurants, I like the bullpen tavern, can't beat...
