A very quiet, peaceful beach, at least in early fall. It’s almost picturesque, like a movie should be shot here. Three benches, a picnic table, a nice sandy (if a little weedy) beach, and kayak rentals. Cool view of pines and hills in the background. A paved trail out here and bathrooms and plenty of parking too, so good for little kids and strollers. No changing station in the bathrooms, though, so watch for that. Also no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes as you change. Overall, a nice place to stop for a picnic while in between the trails here.
