Saturday, May 27th This was the day I recorded my full day of eating. We went out on Namekagon Lake in Cable, WI. I also got to drive the boat! Snacked on some trail mix with various nuts and dried fruit between breakfast and lunch. Go check out my 200 gram protein day of eating video to see how those tempeh BLT sandwiches turned out! The nature in Cable was amazing! I saw a red-winged blackbird for the first time. Also some hawks I couldn’t identify, and a few other birds! On the drive back to Minneapolis, I saw a bald eagle! Almost crashed out while driving lol Solid weekend for a bachelor’s trip. My friend is getting married next week! #vegan #veganfortheanimals #birdwatching #wisconsin #namekagonlake #vegantok

You can't beat the mix of modern rustic and true up north woods that Namekagon offers. You're far enough into the woods to feel secluded but modern creature comforts just on the other side of the lake. Big musky, pan fish a plenty, and plenty of creeks for trout. Deer, elk, bear, and even wolves in the near by area can be spotted. A true gem of the north.
