My wife’s coworker invited us to an evening of fun skiing at Hunt Hollow Ski Club! When we arrived, there was ample amount of parking with a separate loading & unloading area which would be nice for families with kids! Inside the lodge was a big fire pit which was warm and smelled amazing. There were plenty of seating along with tables to sit and relax for a bit. We brought our own chili in a slow cooker which was a nice option rather than buying food their. I did not look at their menu however they seem to have a fair amount of food and beverage choices. They had large lockers for those who rented them and cubbies for those who didn’t have lockers. I have not been skiing in over 10 years and my wife has never been on a pair of skis before so we obviously rented our equipment. It was a pain free process - by the time we had our paperwork filled out and payed for they had our skis and boots already out ready for us to take. We went headed outside once we were ready. Theres no actual “bunny hill” so we practiced a few time towards the bottom of the hill. It didn’t take me too long to get the feeling back and decided to head up the chair lift which gives you the option to get off half way or continue on all the way up the mountain! We got off half way and I took my time going down the mountain. The trails were well lit and the trails were a little icy but overall they were great. It wasn’t overly crowded and everyone respected the mask rules. My wife learned that skiing is not her cup of tea but I cant wait to get back out there. I would highly recommend Hunt Hollow Ski Club to anyone looking for a fun night out or someone looking to call it home away from home!

This place has a cozy atmosphere and uncrowded slopes. They have a nice variety of ski runs, a good snack bar and a fireplace by which to warm up. Non-members may ski on Wednesdays Thursdays and Fridays and certain school holidays.

Pretty slow but the lack of snow and the 'rona have everywhere like this slow. Love the atmosphere. Friendly, affordable and clean.

The resort itself was very quaint - walking in you can smell and breathe in the winter indoor fire pit upstairs in the lodge - and you see the wooden cabin walls. The lodge is pretty small but has many tables to set up camp and get ready. The cafe is pretty good and their catering for parties better. Note: There is no fried foods available.

Since this is also a private club they do not serve alcohol HOWEVER it is BYOB which I think is even better. They also will bring in local brewers, wineries and other type of places to sample their products on occasion. In addition they have several events through out the winter season and local artists and bands to perform.

The mountain is perfect size for skiers of all levels from their bunny hill to double diamonds. In all 27 hills with 2 ski lifts and a Tbar for the bunny hill. There is never a line for the lifts either and the place is never packed so easy to ski down the uncrowded hills.

I highly consider joining club because it is like a second home for many people and families. Lastly although a private club they are open to the public Wed,...

Hunt Hollow is a great ski club. The Hunt Hollow staff in friendly and professional. The Hunt Hollow members are wonderful people from throughout the Rochester area.

This is the ski club where our four children all learned to ski. We have many years of great family memories with family, neighbors, friends and Hunt Hollow staff.

In addition to having a family membership at Hunt Hollow for many years, our business had a corporate Hunt Hollow membership for a decade or more. Corporate membership provided an opportunity to say "thank you" in a tangible way to our outstanding staff and their families. Membership also allowed our staff and their families to enjoy winter sports in this great community.

We highly recommend Hunt Hollow to any families or businesses considering ski club membership in the Rochester, NY area.

Thank you to the Hunt Hollow staff and board of directors for outstanding service over many years.

Sincerely,

Bill &...
