I went here today to pick up some merchandise with my ASAIN wife today. While we were picking out our items some more veterans came in to checkout the museum. As he was describing some of the different items they have there he was super proud to tell them as they walk into the back room to look up at the guy pointing his fun across the room. One of the veterans asked what he is protecting them from and he proudly said. " FROM THEM GOOKS". He must have said this 3 times while we were in there. Stu greeted us and gave us an overview of what was where in the museum, and then we were off to explore. There’s uniforms and artifacts from different eras, excellent videos, but the best is the giant garage with MANY military vehicles. There are quite a few you can get in to, sit in, pretend, etc. Very kid friendly. Uniforms they can wear while in the museum. Everyone was VERY friendly. When we went, it was only open Fri-Sun. Admission is free, but donations accepted. Don’t sleep on it -...

The gem though, is just through two steel doors into the garage...behind which you can find a bunch of military vehicles including a Soviet T-34 tank. I was disappointed that "Brutus" the famous gun truck from Vietnam (featured on "The Gun Trucks of Vietnam" on the Smithsonian Channel) wasn't there, but that's all the more reason to come back and visit again. Very small for a museum, but the admission is free and the volunteers are...
