An important part of both New York history and also religious history. The buildings are in close proximity to each other and there is a walkable path heading north of the great stone barn through one of the former fields. But once it gets past a specific point the path is overgrown with brush. Maybe I just arrived at a bad time when it wasn't cut.
The buildings are unique but some sadly aren't in the best shape. The Great stone barn has been reinforced but more fencing has been put up since my last visit. The laundry building is in critical condition, one of the walls is bowing outwards.
I hope that there is an effort not only to upkeep the historic buildings but also to in the future to open them...
