We visited Elmer’s Go-Karts over the weekend of August 5th. As a group of 20-something aged men, I realize we will garner more attention at a place like this as our demographic will be more prone to reckless driving on the track. It was disappointing when the track employee began with giving the rules and directions in a very demeaning tone. It felt as if we were a group of trouble students that were being given directions in a classroom. On the track, there was some bumping that took place, but most of that was incidental coming into corners. In the three races we were allowed, there were no spinouts, and no karts had gotten stuck or disabled. After the second race, we were yelled at for racing on the final lap following the white flag. There were no incidents coming into the pits, everyone lined up slowly and stayed seated until the engines were turned off. Following the third race, three of our group of nine were simply told “You’re kicked out.” We had purchased nearly $300 in tickets. Our remaining tickets went to a family that was there at the same time as us.

We understand there is a safety standard that needs to be kept and insurance requirements that must be met, but our group did nothing to endanger ourselves or others. As a group with a cabin in the area, we routinely patronize go-kart tracks in the area. Elmer’s has great tracks, but the customer service is poor at best. Unfortunately we will no longer be spending our money at Elmer’s as a result. There are plenty of other places to go-kart in the...

We had a fun afternoon at Elmer's. We went on a Thursday during the summer. It was fairly crowded but did clear out later in the day. Waited 2-3 cycles for the karts (20-30 minutes). Pretty expensive - about $8 per ride paid with tokens purchased from the window or machine. The wait for the bumper boats was very long since they only had 4 boats and people could ride solo (4-8 riders every 8 minutes). We did have one rough service experience during our visit. My dad had a pretty bad run-in with the young petty tyrant at track 2. My dad is 80+ and didn't know the double karts only cost one token (at nearly $20, I would be upset if it cost 2 tokens!). He paid with 2 tokens to ride with my son and nobody said anything. After the ride we figured out his mistake and he went back to ask for his extra token back. He spoke with the young "supervisor" who was actually quite rude about it: accused my dad of lying - my dad said "I put 2 tokens in the styrofoam cup" and the response was "that is impossible, we don't use styrofoam" (not true - weird). They had words and my dad asked for a manager to come over. The manager came quickly and was annoyed to have to return a token - something that should have been handled right away by the petty tyrant supervisor. Not sure what his problem was but probably just having a bad day. All other staff was friendly. We also had ice cream (tasty!) and played a round of mini golf. Kids loved it! Great way to spend...

When we arrived we ordered 2 pizzas. The young staff did NOT have any customer service skills at all. The young dark haired girl working the counter was busy complaining loudly how she needs a raise, flirting with the 2 young boy workers and just socializing in general. I inquired about how the Park worked and it was very confusing. (It may be more helpful to have an information board). I had to wave down an adult worker to pay for our tickets. A girl with pink hair brought out 1 pizza. I told her we ordered 2. She left and the dark haired girl came to our table. Hand on her hip and snarky tone she said "is there a problem?" My husband told her we ordered 2 pizzas and she said we didn't. So he tried to order something else because we didn't want to wait for the 2nd pizza. Apparently everything else on their menu was out and there was only 1 hot dog left... At 6p?!... So we ordered the 2nd pizza again. She had an attitude and threw the frozen pizza on the counter refusing to cook it herself. The adult worker then seen the pizza was broken half way through cooking and said she was remaking it so we had to wait even longer. We will never be back and will never recommend this...

I just came off a 24 Minnesota’s Best Miniature Golf Tour. Now I’m starting my 70+ Wisconsin’s Best Miniature Golf Tour. We had a really good time here and came for the mini golf. This course has a good blend of everything and a really hard Par Structure, every hole is a 2. The only way to beat this course is to get more holes in one than the 3’s you accumulate. Very good use of water, very good challenging holes, very good decor. Now for the missing star… This is a Blue water course. Most of the top courses today are leaving the Blue water behind. Blue water only makes pictures look better, otherwise, ugh. This courses bricks are all loose making it very hard to play here. I would only recommend playing this course if they fix the loose bricks problem, otherwise, don’t bother.

If you're looking for great, safe, family fun for all ages, this is the place! They have horse riding, bumper boats, batting cages, a bungeline, a rock climbing tower, miniature golf, and best of all, go karts. And if you are someone who loves go karts and knows what makes a good kart and a good track and an overall good karting experience, this is the place! These are the best and make great racing! My dad and I had an awesome time. They also have a concessions shops with snacks, food, and Cedar Crest Ice Cream. And those people that complained about rude or unfriendly staff, you people had to either be drunk, out of your mind, or at the wrong place. The staff was all very help and friendly! Bring your family here for a grand ole time and an affordable rate!!

We go up to that area a couple times a year always one of our favorite stops. I have 8 children ages 22 Down to a 1 and 1/2 year old. They have something for all ages to do We all have fun. My kids love the go karts they have multiple great tracks there Bumper boats, really nice horseback riding trails, A great play area for the little guys and girls With a playhouse, bounce house and little electric power wheel go karts for them and an arcade. The owners and the staff are all very friendly and very helpful one of my children is in a wheelchair and they always go out of their way to help him ride the go karts and to do whatever else he wants to do. A fun place with good people running it we love it.
