My son and I visited here during last years Eagle River Cranberry Festival. Along with walking away with their Excellent “Cran Cab” wine (and extremely tasty); we came away with knowledge and a very large bag of fresh cranberries. This was a first, trying and liking raw cranberries, just popped in my mouth, No sugar added - LOL. We’re still enjoying our cranberries today. I “can” preserve jars of cranberries each year, using about half the sugar normal recipes call for and don’t cook them to mush. I store the jars in a second refrigerator until the next crop (to be enjoyed all year). A suggestion for the adventurers. If you like and occasional PB&J, then you’ll have to try this one, A PB&CJ. Yeah, Cranberry preserves do go with peanut butter. Maybe even better open faced on toasted bread? I’ve...

Clean and nicely presented treasure in the Northwoods. It took us three tries to get on the bus to get a tour because of scheduling miscommunications, but we finally did and it was well worth the wait.

It was so interesting learning about the harvesting of cranberries and how many stay local. Wisconsin should be proud of this treasure in the Northwoods.

I included a picture of the outhouse by the store because it was the cleanest outhouse with the sink and fan, and a really was a fun addition to the trip we made. I believe it was there because we were there right before cranberry fest in Eagle River. Lake Nokomis was having a special event.

We bought a lot of cranberries, cooked most of them already and they are delicious! Also purchased some dry and flavored and wish we had more. …Until...

Our visit to Lake Nokomis Cranberries was absolutely top notch in every way! The farm manager, Clint, gave an excellent tour to the three generations of my family members who participated. He was very knowledgeable and took great care to fully answer all of our questions, and he was kind and personable in the process. We also received excellent attention and greatly enjoyed looking over the array of cranberry products that were assembled and on display in their very elegant and organized gift shop.

To sum it up, our visit to Lake Nokomis Cranberries was absolutely top notch in every way, and we just wanted you to know that this was...

We spent the night in our RV at Lake Nokomis Cranberries farm via Harvest Hosts . We arrived, set up the camper and went in for a wine tasting. I've never had cranberry wine and it was pretty tasty..... Christy was our host. After the wine tasting she gave us a great tour of the farm and explained the operation. It was interesting! Very cool stop this evening for sure! Your missing out on a life experience if you don't check it out.
