Lawrance Farm — Attraction in Town of Newburgh

Giving this place a 1 star because the place fails to provides a positive experience. The first is their parking per car / person. We were a party of 4 and each paid $5. So the bigger your party the more you pay. My review is based on 2 visits. My mom initially came to get corn leaves and grabbed some apples as well. Unfortunately she put some apples in her personal bag so I was unaware of it. Me and my brother did not go to do the picking and stayed.

They wanted to charge the remaining apples in the bag so I asked if is possible for me to eat an apple as I did not go to the farm with my brother but charged us to enter. They said no so my review is based on handling of management. They are there to make as much money as possible and really don't care on providing a positive experience. Anything customers use to assist in grabbing any produce from this location should not be charged. I've visited this place 2 times. Both times were negative and this is the final visit. They are mostly greedy at this location.

Anybody to eat 1 apple won't hurt them especially when...

We had an amazing experience there. Pricey, yes, but what a great time! Amazing selection of apples! The vistas were splendid. Would love to go back (if I can afford it)

$10 person to enter the picking field. Kinda stinks for parents or grandparents who have to pay just to observe but they gotta generate revenue somehow. Apple prices were probably high, don’t remember exactly. You’re not going there for a deal on apples.

Again, huge selection of apples. Found some new ones I really enjoy. The one was almost the color of a plum. Good stuff.

Goats are there. A horse (or two 🤷‍♂️).

Tractor 🚜 with people carry to help get from one side of the larger orchard to another.

Again, pricey, probably $200 for a family of four, couple grocery bags of apples, some donuts, couple pumpkins 🎃, but if you can afford & accept that, you’ll probably like it there.

Just read some reviews that said they charge for parking 🅿️, they didn’t charge us. I don’t know what the plan was so said no thanks at the entrance & then paid for everyone at the...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lawrence Farms Orchards, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience for my family, especially my daughter. From the moment we arrived, the warm and inviting atmosphere engulfed us, making us feel right at home.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, They truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed for a wonderful day.

The farm offers a variety of delicious snacks and fresh-pressed cider, which made for a perfect treat after our fruit-picking adventure. Watching my daughter savor every bite while sitting under the shade of the trees was a moment to treasure.
