While it was beautiful and featured 3 short trails - DO NOT GO HERE UNTIL SUMMER. It is basically a swamp right now and there were frequently no ways around the mud. Also probably because it’s early spring, some of the trails hadn’t been used and so I was guessing where to go and linked up with the actual trail maybe 30 feet later. We went down the Frank trail because it was uphill and I figured it would be less muddy - but no! Another thing - it’s hills, not flat - just an FYI. Additionally, I arrived at 8AM on a Sunday and there was no one there for the hour we were. It was beautiful - I will try again in the dry part of summer.

Lovely hike, about 2.5 miles with all the side trails. I’d say generally easy but some moderate due to the tree roots and some steep inclines. The side trails were all well marked but the blazes upon entering the main trail were missing and I did overshoot the turnoff. I had to wait and see people coming up the hill so I knew where to go. Gorgeous trees and little streams, and about 1,000 chipmunks. Not crowded at all, saw about 5 people total when I was there.

So far this is one of my favorite hikes in the area . Plenty of parking (but can be slightly difficult to find) look for the small park preserve sign (I have attached a photo leaving the park- look for that sign). Family & dog friendly . Moderate to easy hike . Spectacular fall foliage . Well marked and maintained trails . Most people wearing masks . This place is beautiful and offers plenty of room to explore . Highly recommend .

Nice hike that allows for graduated steps. Wear hik8ng boots, bug juice, and bring water.

Leave any leash reactive pooches at home as there are plenty of frogs & and chipmunks, and you'll need to focus on whee you step.

Lots of clay makes inclnes slippery in the woods. Overall, nice hike.

Red trail meets blue, going up a steep hill to the north, more of a left turn. Otherwise, you'll be on a blue trail. It is best to take pic of the map when you enter...
