THE THEATRICAL RELEASE... This is too good to be cut down so straight into it...
THE DIRECTOR'S CUT... Robb Farms is our go to for local apples, peaches, berries, honey and fresh apple cider. We also make the 20 minute trip for their made fresh cake doughnuts, they are so scrumptious!
They always have a great selection of farm grown fruits and veggies. You can grab a ready made bag, fill your own or go out into the orchard and pick your own. We always go for their honeycrisp apples, peaches and apple cider. We have had fresh apple cider from a couple different local farms and the mix they have at Robb Farms is always the best. It changes through the season as different apples come in and out of season, but they always have the perfect mix. They get that mix of a nice sweet front end and then the slight tartness slips in at the end, nothing you can buy in a store can live up.
Their doughnuts are fantastic! When we started going there about five years ago, I think it was, they only had just the apple cider doughnuts. Now they have expanded to sour cream, blueberry, cinnamon and sugar, apple cider and a seasonal apple version. These alone are worth the drive in our opinion. A couple of fresh sour cream doughnuts and a tall glass of ice cold fresh apple cider does a fall day make.
Don't know what apples are good for your pie, what peaches will hold up to canning they will be able to help you. The staff are very knowledgeable and willing to help. They have a very wide variety of apples and peaches, our main reason for going, besides the apple cider. We always say we are going to do a pick-your-own visit but usually just end up picking from the crates of picked apples. On our last visit they had beautiful acron squash, we will grab a couple on our next visit.
If you find yourself craving some great home grown fruits, veggies, doughnuts and fresh pressed apple cider take a trip to Robb Farms. They are open seven days a week and are waiting for you to visit. Even if you just want to get out of the house take a trip and say hello to the great staff at Robb Farms. Don't forget to get a free sample of their fresh pressed apple cider, you may just end up leaving with a couple gallons.

Read moreSo far, they are the best farm for apple picking and smoothies. Very nice people and so many different types of apples to choose from. There are multiple rows of trees behind and, I just learned, in front of the store. Every visit, we were directed to the back to pick apples. The 1st time we were the only ones there, the 2nd time an Indian family were in the back with us. Then we stopped by just to check out the pumpkins, since were out there, and noticed a lot of yt ppl coming out of the store, with bags, to pick from the other side, in front of the store. Why were we always lead to the back if they have so much more. Weird đ My husband asked and confirmed, the front is their family's farm and they pick from there too. I have more opinions on that but I'll wait and continue watching/recording until I have facts.
Anyway, other than that, customer service is good, great apples in back (can't wait to try those in front), great family atmosphere and decent prices. They charge by bag sizes for apple picking, their honey is good, and their smoothies are amazing, $5 a cup, but amazing.
(Not sure how, but they need to exterminate and reduce the indoor flies. We wanted donuts but way too many flies...
