I was very impressed with this short but very sweet trail !!! Perfect for a quick hike to break up the 5hr+ drives as a traveling nurse ! This trail is also great for families , children and the beginner hikers !! Large , safe parking lot at the entrance . I did the 2mile lope (includes the RR remnants). Slight incline , easy trail with well marked blazes ! Not much for wildlife on The day I went but beautiful scenery throughout . Was still muddy so wear appropriate footing . Bugs weren’t noticeable at all . Stay on the trail as some parts will lead to private property (clearly marked signs) . Multiple look outs for stellar views of the mountains . Trail was clean and well kept . The drive in was beautiful as well ! Took me 2 hours to complete with multiple 10minute stops to just relax and take...

Looking forward to doing it different times...
