Heritage Square Museum — Attraction in Town of Ontario

Recently discovered this hidden gem while searching for our family history in Ontario NY. In my opinion Heritage Square is even better than GCVM! It is an easy walk from each of the houses/buildings and they are all so well-maintained with many historical artifacts. We had the opportunity to provide some service here. We were part of the cast of the Hill Cumorah Pageant for 2016. It was a great experience clearing weeks, painting, and rehabilitating the flagstone sidewalk to the house. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area from the knowledgeable staff. Visited with my child's class for a field trip. Everyone was so professional and knowledgeable on the history of Ontario. Could easily spend the day learning about how Ontario became the town it is. Well maintained grounds and buildings. Highly recommend...
