This winery is an absolute gem and well worth the trip! With the covid situation we have been doing little day trips on the weekends and visited this winery on a Sunday afternoon. The winery was recently bought by a family who were absolutely lovely.

We did the vineyard tour and tasting - they took us to 3 different spots around the vineyard where we tried various wines and the owner taught us about the wine, vines, and vineyard. If you enjoy wine, a walk through a beautiful landscape, and learning then I highly recommend this tour and tasting.

They have picnic tables outside if you would like to enjoy a glass outside with friends, we brought some local cheese with us and enjoyed it with a few glasses of wine. They have a nice little store where you can purchase wine and other...

This was our 1st experience of a winery. We did a picnic date for our 4th wedding anniversary. It was a blast and would highly recommend 10/10.

We got there and got to taste test a few wines to pick out the one we wanted for our picnic. We chose a sweet red wine, wildflower.

The cheese, crackers, meat, and the chocolate were FANTASTIC!!!! The view?! WOW!!!! very beautiful. We had an amazing time for our cute date, and we would do it again.

The lady working that day was so sweet, too! They pack you a picnic basket that included blankets, food plater, wine, wine glasses, etc. After you're done, you just bring the basket and...

We have seen the transformation of the tasting room from Weggy Winery to the new Wild Hils Winery under the careful management of Aaron & Colleen Halverson. They have amazing plans for the winery and are consumate hosts when you go there for a tasting. Their knowledge of the wines is impeccable. We can wait to see how the winery changes in the next year. The current tasting room is very warm and inviting since their remodel work. Don't miss this great spot in the Driftless Area! We are a tour business that has collaborated with Wild Hills Winery and our experience during that collaboration was very...

I bought my mom a getaway to Wild Hills for Christmas. We were the first to stay at the Estate home. It is amazingly done. No expenses spared. Very fancy and very well setup. We cooked most of meals in their very gourmet kitchen. The sun rise and sun set are visible from either sides of the home. We wandered the property as they were getting ready for spring and had some wine in their tasting room. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would really recommend staying. I'm sure this place will soon be booked all summer long.

What a wonderful afternoon! We did a tour and a tasting on a hot and humid Father's Day. The constant breeze and occasional clouds made for near perfect conditions, for our educational stroll through a winery. We joined the wine club and will be back soon for more wine, pizza and music. I highly recommend this laid back winery growing cold loving grapes in the hills of the Driftless.
