Osceola Ski and Sport Resort — Attraction in Town of Osceola

Carrying on the Amazing Osceola Experience!!! Beautifully groomed trails. Comfortable and clean lodge with great food, a warm fireplace, facilities that include restrooms and changing rooms and a well-organized ski shop with skis for purchase or rental. I took my friends with me and - even with 8 of us- we were on the trails in no time! Dustin and Chris have made this an incredible escape with trails sure to please all levels of skiers. Osceola Ski and Sport Resort has so many choices in trail to keep you skiing for as long as you want without having to double back. To get there: Drive into Osceola and be sure to drive PAST the old Osceola Tug Hill Ski Center (the owners - Hugh and Anna- sold most of their land in retirement). Up the hill, you will see the big Red Barn. Park in the big parking lot and walk through one of the 3 doors into the immaculate lodge. This is where you will be welcomed by Dustin and Chris for check in and to begin your outdoor experience! Be sure to save your map of the area offline on Google Maps as - although the lodge has WiFi - there is spotty cell service once you are out the lodge and on your way home. My son and I are not new to XC Skiing, but my husband is. This resort offers it all! Challenging hills, great long flats, and a plethora of trails for endless fun through the woods. The course offers practice areas for my husband to learn and grow into the sport (skate), while my son can go tackle the challenging portions of the trails. There's plenty of room for both the skate and classic skier on all the trails. Recommend downloading the Avenza Maps app, as they've uploaded the trails here, or just go get lost in the woods, as the trails are marked adequately to get you back to the lodge! The lodge is in pristine conditions, offering sales and rentals, some nice warm snacks and beverages. The bathrooms are large and super clean! Lastly, the family is there to make all your experiences joyful, and stress free; they make you feel right at home! My dad and I met up with two of my cousins at Ski Osceola today. While my cousins are advanced Nordic skiers, my Dad and I are beginners. We all had a great experience.

Brand new rentals, super clean, cozy lodge with fireplace and both indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of groomed trials in a beautiful setting. This was exactly as serene and peaceful as I dreamed it would be.

In addition, our group lesson instructors were excellent. We got personal attention, despite different skill levels among the group, and all our questions were answered. I am a first timer and the lesson left me feeling well prepared for an afternoon of skiing.

I hope the season grants us more snow as I would love to come back soon.

Ps- the lodge has a nice snack bar with coffee, hot chocolate, chili, assorted snacks and bottled beverages.
