My new favorite wetland to visit in eastern Wisconsin but I haven't seen them all. The boardwalk is not very long, maybe a quarter mile or so. Made up for by Incredible plant diversity. Saw a beautiful frog, heard many birds. such a pristine place. Some of the boards are pretty close to sumberged. A heavy person might get their toes wet. There are a few stairs to get down to the trail. There is also an information board if that's your thing.

Nice little board walk where you can see native pink lady slippers and sarracenia Purpurea and some other amazing aquatic bog plants, not much of a hike though only 0.20 miles and very buggy in the summer. Would 100% recommend stopping by if you're in the area though.

Short scenic boardwalk stroll through the thicket. I don’t recommend trying to wade in the water as it gets deep very close to boardwalk. My kid that loves water took a few steps and went UNDER. See pics. That was a rough clean up!

This isn't a trail so much as it is a scenic overlook...takes less than 5 min to actually walk. You go through a very small area of a very interesting place. Download a plant ID app, take your time, and go through a couple times a year so that you can catch plants as they bloom!...

Came here for a class lab from Ripon college. Love the tamaracks everywhere. Feels like being up in the Northwoods. The boardwalk could use a bit of disability accessibility maintenance. Slats are far apart and slick with litter, which is understandable. No ramps...
