Asylum Point Park — Attraction in Town of Oshkosh

The bridge to the lighthouse is currently damaged from winter ice but if you turn around you can have a fantastic walk through nature. I followed the shoreline to the trail that winds through the woods, by the cemetary, down the road to a grassy trail that took me much further than I had expected. A small park good for walking dogs and children. Cool things to look at like big dry docked boats, an old lighthouse, and you can walk right up to the shores of the lake.

Went in November, so there were no mosquito or insect issues.

There is a very small trail system that Loops between the two access roads. This is not a hike.

Lots of burrs in some of the walking areas.

Quiet peaceful trails that lead along the shore line. Dogs are allowed which is a huge plus in my books. Trails are tight but many. Can be quite icy, muddy or wet so do prepare for that.
