The bridge to the lighthouse is currently damaged from winter ice but if you turn around you can have a fantastic walk through nature. I followed the shoreline to the trail that winds through the woods, by the cemetary, down the road to a grassy trail that took me much further than I had expected. Went in November, so there were no mosquito or insect issues.
There is a very small trail system that Loops between the two access roads. This is not a hike.
Lots of burrs in some of the walking areas.
