The bridge to the lighthouse is currently damaged from winter ice but if you turn around you can have a fantastic walk through nature. I followed the shoreline to the trail that winds through the woods, by the cemetary, down the road to a grassy trail that took me much further than I had expected. Took me back to younger days of exploring near the trail my hometown was on. No shortage of living things to look at whether breathing or growing or even the spindly rot of a once robust tree.
