Rice Creek Field Station — Attraction in Town of Oswego

Underused on weekends, a beautiful study spot with bird feeders and natural marshlands. Has various boardwalk/dirt trails through the woods and marshes, seriously beautiful any time of the year. My last visit we saw three species of frog, over thirty monarch butterflies, a Belted Kingfisher pair, lots of honey bees, cardinals and chickadees + one humming bird....

Decent place to hike and snowshoe. Nice facilities. Helped organize some trail maintenance through my Guide Business Oswego Expeditions. Hoped to work with them more but unfortunately SUNY Oswego created a few road blocks that I am not quite clear on. Trails are open...

We walked parts of the orange and all of blue trail. It was very nice to get out into nature again. Very appreciative that the trails have been fairly well maintained even though things have been shut down...
