Three Mile Point — Attraction in Town of Otsego

Nice small public (village) park on Otsego Lake approx 5 miles from Cooperstown on Rt 80. $5.00 admission per person and limited parking for twenty five cars. One handicap spot is available There's a covered pavilion, picnic tables, and benches. There's a swimming area with a lifeguard on duty as well as a small dock for motor boat docking and small beach area to launch kayaks and canoes. There is no boat ramp for launching a boat from a trailer. A nice quiet spot to relax and enjoy the lake view or take a swim to cool off. Restrooms...

This is a good summer time swimming spot. Admission is free for village residents. Otherwise, it's $5 per person for out of state license plates. There were two life guards on duty (one was looking at her phone every time I looked at her). There's a dock that goes out to about 10 ft, which makes for a great place to jump...
