We are thrilled to have met Noah and his whole family over the weekend. We could tell that they are passionate about their products in the way they talk about all the hard work they've done to grow their business!! The whole family is responsible for the success, from planting to harvesting, to manufacturing and distribution, which reminds us to focus our efforts to support local businesses. We were recommended Airy by our good friend because of their unique and delicious Georgian wines (Rkatsiteli and Saperavi) as well as their awesome Finger Lakes stapes (Gewurtz and Rieslings). Wine tasting was affordable and they brought out the product quickly. I think their tasting room was very intimate and homey but also upscale and comfortable. Nothing pretentious - just amazing wines and selection of local foods and cheeses. We ended up joining the wine club (the only 1 we've ever joined in our life) because of the benefits, flexibility, and service. Noah and his family are hard working - we even saw his mother trimming the vines in the field during our stay - and extremely knowledgeable about wines. He was kind enough to show us around and the hidden cellar selection. Even though it's a bit out of the way, we felt we couldn't miss the opportunity to visit Airy. Being a member of the wine club gave us the opportunity to try some of the experimental products as well, like the Port and small-batch items. We highly recommend anyone interested in exploring Finger Lakes wineries to visit Airy, you will be very pleased...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about Airy Acres, but I’ll try: the tastings are perfectly priced at $10 for trying five of their many selections. Every wine better than the one before, I could never pick a favorite red or white. It was replanting day in the vineyard so we were able to meet the whole family. (That’s who’s running this place, the whole family.) It felt really good to spend the money to help support their journey. Beautiful people and beautiful wine. I’ll be singing their praises to anyone who will listen. Delicious and delightful all around. Can’t wait to visit again!! Thank you, Noah...
Read moreWe were brought by friends (Tom and Priscilla) to this cozy, friendly, vineyard on the west side of Lake Cayuga. Their award winning selection of wines was wonderful; including selections to tempt any palate. Our favorite was the reasonably priced "Betty's Blend", a white wine just on the dry side of semi- sweet that was crisp and refreshing. The tasting room and porch had a family atmosphere where visitors were often engaged in friendly conversations with people at adjacent tables. I highly recommend this vineyard to anyone looking for a quiet place to try (and buy) some...
