The Pawling Nature Preserve is laced with beautiful, and some slightly challenging, trails. The trails are well marked and at times intersect the famous Appalachian Trail. It is easy to locate, not far from Rt. 22 north of Pawling,NY. There is off road parking and an information and trail register station with maps, hiker registration and orange vests for hikers to borrow during hunting season.
