Wow what an amazing place I thought it was great minus the snow on the trails but its winter time. I never been until today and so much to offer. saw a lot of people walking dogs and you can just walk around the park and not the trails if you don't want too. I ran around the lake and once you go over the bridge you can see a yellow diamond blaze marking I did that trail which went back into a bunch of open fields and go bye some old farm buildings; also i took a blue trail which led right back to the lake. would love to go back and run more or even mountain bike, hike since their was a red trail, white/black i didn't do and have no idea where those went/ like 5 trails in all. well kept and a nice park by all means. only thing i would say is maybe the trail marking could be a little better. second time today just as good like the first did the red trail which is longer in miles and went to Murrow park, i was also told the black and white trail is more for hiking and goes way out...
Read moreThe lake at this park is now for local town people only. Otherwise there is a $10 fee per person. I think that is due to what we've seen on recent visits, where out of town visitors were getting out of hand. Starting to get too crowded with visitors setting up big tents, lawn furniture, and hammocks with large groups of people.
