Casa larga was a dream for our wedding day. Belinda was our sales manager who was very knowledgeable and friendly who toured us around and took the time to explain each package and answer all of our questions. David was our wedding coordinator who was always so calm and heard me out for all my crazy requests. He really went above and beyond to make my espresso martini tower dreams come true as well as my roaming cannoli station - even going out of his way to make sure my signature drink had coffee beans. When it came to our food tasting it was really disappointing as all of the food was overdone due to sitting too long in the hot box. Unfortunately, the chefs had already left for the day so they couldn't recook anything. Chris our food & beverage manager was very apologetic and he and the server Sam were also in shock of the food that was served. Chris did make it right by upgrading our filet to the higher package at no additional cost which we did appreciate especially because we traveled all the way from Florida for this tasting. I too work in the hospitality so I certainly understand things happen, but did leave me a little uneasy of what kind of food me and our guests would be served day of as it was hard to get an idea at the tasting. Sam reassured us this was not normal for them and that they always have rave reviews of their food from guests and almost promised us it would not be like this day of our wedding. Luckily Sam was right and all the food was delicious, staff and service was great and the roaming cannoli guy was just a hoot and really give a big shout out to everyone for turning it around and making our wedding perfect.

Dave and I cannot say enough about the folks at Casa Larga! From the moment we contacted Belinda Countryman to reserve the date two years ago they guided us every step of the way. On our big day the staff worked tirelessly to ensure our day was the best it could be. The food (Chapels Catering), the atmosphere, the venue, and their friendliness was amazing and will be cherished forever. The complements from our guests are still coming in. Again, we cannot say enough about the entire staff. But, one person needs to be singled out... David Suatoni was assigned as our day of the event planner. This man, we don't have the right words to express our appreciation for his efforts. David became a lifelong friend along the way and took charge that day ensuring that Dave and I could take part and not worry about the details. David we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! We waited 27 years to get married and the day was absolutely PERFECT!

My husband and I chose Casa Larga as our wedding reception venue this past March. The team at Casa Larga exceeded all of our expectations and made our day truly a dream come true! We had the pleasure of working with David as our wedding coordinator. David ensured all of our needs and wants were met and made it so we were able to enjoy each other’s presence on the big day. All of the logistics were completed prior to our day so we had nothing to worry about the day of. All of our guests expressed to us how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food tasted. Having a wedding in March, we were unsure about the weather, yet Casa Larga allowed us to enjoy all aspects of the grounds including the vineyard. We highly recommend getting married at Casa Larga!

Casa Larga was the perfect location for our wedding. First of all, it is really great in terms of convenience because you get bar service and catering directly included at a very reasonable price so you don't have to worry about searching for those services separately. It's also a great location, not too far out from Rochester. I know I made the right decisions because we received so many compliments on the venue, including the beautiful indoor space, the gorgeous vineyard views, and how EXCELLENT the food was! Seriously though, I am ALWAYS disappointed with the food when I attend a wedding so my expectations were low... Our food was PHENOMENAL, in fact I was 100% convinced my father who flew in from France would not be one bit impressed and guess what... he was VERY happy with his beautiful filet. I had the sea bass and it was DELICIOUS. Guests were SO happy, someone even said they wanted to change their current caterer they have booked for their upcoming wedding because they wanted the Casa Larga food! The catering manager Mary Kay was so accommodating and really went above and beyond for us, I was so grateful. The space is absolutely gorgeous which was really helpful for me because I am not good with decorations so I was able to do minimal work here... (plus I was planning this from Texas as we do not live in Rochester anymore so decorations were complicated for me), the space is perfectly fine on its own. The staff, event manager and our amazing coordinator David were so incredibly accommodating and helpful... I've heard horror stories about day of coordinators who don't end up helping a lot, this was NOT the case for us, we felt supported and understood months before the event, and I had no stress at all about the venue. The day of, we felt like ROYALTY; even though we had a lot going on, the staff and coordinator ALWAYS made sure we had everything we needed. I think this venue gets a lot of business, yet they made us feel so special, we did not feel like we were just another wedding for them, we never felt pressured into anything they really let us take the reigns, they were incredibly dedicated, communication was ALWAYS great. Our social medias were FLOODED with pictures of guests who had taken pictures outside in front of the vines at sun set. Our guests had a wonderful time and that was so important to us. Cannot recommend this beautiful...

Words cannot express just how great our experience with Casa Larga was! My wife and I could not be happier with our choice to have them host our wedding reception this summer. To start, Belinda Countryman did an excellent job talking us through the entire booking process and helping us ensure all our needs were met and we would get the wedding we had always dreamed of. She was always available for any questions and was easy to reach when we needed to consult with her. Once we booked our date, David Suatoni became our day-of coordinator and did a phenomenal job with all of our final preparations. He was able to answer any questions timely and ensure that things like food allergies, decorations, and all accommodations would be suitable for each of our guests. His positive demeanor and attention to detail were instrumental in helping us enjoy the planning process. David went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect day. All of the staff on the wedding date were extremely welcoming and friendly and all of our guests raved about the service. The food was excellent and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they ever had. Chef Scott did an incredible job with our menu and was so flexible when it came to accommodating dietary restrictions for our guests. Aside from the service, the views from anywhere on the grounds were stunning and make for great pictures at all hours of the day. The back deck was also a perfect cocktail hour location and a hit for our guests especially in the summer. There was tons of parking available and the venue was very good at working with all of our vendors to ensure they had the time and space they needed to set up prior to the event and work comfortably throughout the night. Many of our vendors even commented that they always get excited working with couples who are having their wedding at Casa Larga because it is one of their favorite Rochester wedding venues also. Casa Larga was the perfect venue for our wedding reception and we could not be happier with our choice and hope that everyone chooses them for their...

When we arrived to this place, the two people working there were distracted. We were given no clear guidance about how our tour and tasting was to be conducted. We waited 45 minutes outside before the next tour at 3. About 5 after, an attendant offered to take us on a private tour, which was rushed. We were told we did not get to see one section, but no explanation was given. Our tour basically just led us through the rooms, and didn't include any information on the process of wine making. Every time we asked a question, I had the feeling that our guide was annoyed at the delay. We did not ask that many questions. The tastings are conducted at a counter where your attendant stands and waits for you to toss down your wine so you can quickly go on to the next. My daughter and I did not feel at leisure to discuss what we were tasting, and no real knowledge was imparted about each of the wines was shared by the person pouring the wine. She just stood there watching us, seeming bored. The wines all had a bitter aftertaste, sweet as they were. This place has all the trappings of a really nice spot; the building, evocative of old Italy, is nonetheless devoid of character. It felt like Disney World. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the vineyard behind and to the side were nice. It is rather spoiled by its proximity to the road in front, and the vista to the back is ruined by a neighborhood of McMansions that the vineyard's owner, apparently also a developer, had built. My impression is that this is more of a store than a winery. Most of the 'tasting room' is given over to pricey retail displays. For all its slick presentation, there was very little to lead me to believe that there was any focus on craftsmanship here. It's all commerce. If you are a true wine aficionado,...
