The lake is great and I had such a good time. It is right off Seven Lakes Drive and has a parking lot with a view. The only problem with this lake is that it is almost too accessible to the general public. There is so much garbage around in the woods it is like there have been groups of people having picnics and parties all summer and none of them cleaned up after. Basically the entire path around the lake was littered with broken glass and at spots that overlooked the water there were literally bags of trash filled to overflowing. I still give it four stars because the lake itself is nice and you can canoe and kayak(swimming is not permitted). It was also nice because we could watch the sun go down over the lake and it was an easy walk to the car even in the dark. When we got to the car the stars were out and someone had even driven from Brooklyn with their telescope to look at Saturn. The lovely couple let us take a look in the telescope and we could see the rings around Saturn and we pet their dog, Monty. That was such a nice way to end the night.
