Horseshoe Lake — Attraction in Town of Piercefield

Please understand that Horseshoe Lake, NY is a motorless lake for public use ONLY. There are and have been TWO private camps for 40 yrs that are GRANDFATHERED and OWN several motor boats (sometimes waterski, fish, tour, retrieve water, basically run all over this lake for more than 40 years. Please do not expect Horseshoe Lake to be motorless and call a forest ranger over and over.. Then disrupt everybody's good time. This camping was quite and breathtaking. We (me and the dog) camped in May a few seasons ago and it was early enough (and cold enough) so there were no bugs to deal with.
