Springside Farm — Attraction in Town of Pompey

Extremely disappointed with our first and last visit here.. there are so many things to do but NO STAFF monitoring or manning any of the play areas… our 3 year old was completely wiped out and trampled on by 2 older teenage boys on the bounce pad who were running - yes there is a sign that says “no running” but there was no one monitoring anything, except for the parents - but there appeared to be no parenting for older kids because then AGAIN, our 5yr old son was waiting patiently for a pedal car and there was no monitoring that either, so older kids were sprinting to any open car and riding them with no caution to anyone around them! We eventually decided to try something else because we saw how “cut throat” everyone was acting and how dangerous it was getting for younger kids. There was also NO supervision or direction for the “line” to the tractor ride / barrel train. We waited for 20 minutes but again, with no staff manning the ride kids / parents were just pushing their way through without any consideration for how long other people were waiting. We have never experienced a place meant for “kids” that was so kid unfriendly. We paid over $70 for 2 adults and 3 young kids (under 6) and didn’t actually get to enjoy any of the things we paid for. 10/10...

We went to springside for our first time Friday after school. We walked in and had the best time there was so much to do for the kids and they had a blast. When we were getting ready to leave we went into the barn where they have food and more pumpkins and such to purchase. We decided we didn’t want anything in there and began walking out when the woman at the counter asked us if we needed help and we replied we were all set but thank you. She said that we didn’t have wrist bands on. I asked what the wrist bands were . She started yelling saying we needed to come in through the gift shop during the week to pay for admission I said oh I’m sorry had no idea we just walked through where we thought was the main entrance and didn’t see any signs . She continued being completely unprofessional yelling at another employee to not catch us sooner - we had no idea. Like I stated it was our first time there and saw no signs. I offered several times to pay and she continued to be horrible. As fun as we had we will never go there again because she was so rude. And after talking to other families about this , sadly this isn’t the first time I’ve heard now this lady is that rude . Clearly not good for business. Hope she’s...

Beautiful space, amazing people to work with and the perfect place to get married! This space is amazing for someone who wants a blank space to let your creativity flow and put together your dream wedding.

The owners of Springside Farm are helpful, responsive and want to make sure your day is perfect! They are constantly improving their space to make it better for weddings, including the bathrooms attached to the barn which is hard to find at a barn wedding venue.

One recommendations for getting married here: If your caterer doesn’t come with people to help during cocktail hour and dinner, hire additional help for cleanup and just to make the day go smoother.
