We were thoroughly pleased with how our wedding reception took shape with very little stress on my (the bride) or our families part. The ballroom is absolutely beautiful and they vary the decor depending on the season. We were able to personalize the decor by adding our own center pieces and flowers throughout. They also have background lights behind the wedding party table which they displayed colored lights of our choosing. They were very flexible with set-up and were willing to allow us to come in both the day before and the day of because we had fresh flowers (we ended up having the flowers on Friday so we didn't need to do this). The food was very good and we ended up with plenty of leftovers! We had a few guests at the reception with dairy/gluten allergies and they prepared some of the sides separate without butter for us. They also saved one piece of each of our four flavors of cake for us to enjoy on our honeymoon, per our request. The staff was extremely polite but at the same time we didn't notice them all that much, they weren't in the way of our guests having fun. We were able to set up a photo booth and Memories was flexible with us to let them set up during the reception because we did not pay for the photo booth for the entire reception time. We also really liked the D.J. He took our suggestions of music but also incorporated requests from guests to keep everyone happy! As the bride, I felt very at ease throughout the night which I greatly appreciated! I also love that Memories is close to our home so that we can go back and visit...
Read moreWe had a 200+ guest wedding & needing a venue that could accommodate that many & not send us into bankruptcy. I found Memories by accident when looking at another venue; I called & they gave me a tour THAT DAY. 48 hours later the deposit was made & it was smooth sailing! It is so inclusive & SO COMPETITIVELY PRICED, you cannot go wrong! DJ, decorations, table/chairs, table numbers if you'd like, & an optional photobooth for $500 (& you get a copy of EVERY PICTURE TAKEN)! Lisa was a pleasure to work with - super knowledgeable, & if you want her to take the lead, she'll do it & make it stress free. The food is made there & served buffet style, & it was super tasty. Oh, & you get to take home the leftovers - SCORE! It was such a great place to have our reception - I would recommend it to anyone. It's decorated seasonally & the Fall decor is spectacular. Even months later I still see guests using their picture in front of Memories's fireplace as their Facebook profile picture. We had roast beef, broasted chicken, several sides, & an open bar & I couldn't believe the final cost. Any other place would have been probably twice as high. It was a great place & absolutely perfect for our...
Read moreI have attended murder mysteries, chicken comedies, dinner theatres and a musical tribute. You can also rent the venue for events. Parking is free. The food is simple, but good. Performances will run about 50 or 60 dollars per person including a show after eating salad, bread, their famous fluff, a full meal and dessert. You can have seconds once everyone is served, but you probably won't need to. It feels homey as it's family owned and run. I think they can have up to 200 people in attendance. They give a pitcher of water at the table, plus a station for tea and coffee included. There is a bar if you want to buy an adult beverage or soda. It's casual with more of an older crowd. I think it's the best value around and a nice, relaxing...
